Bakkus is the alias of Joshua Hughes, and English Tech House and Techno producer/DJ from Gravesend, Kent.

He started DJing at the age of 18 and has performed at clubs such as EGG Ldn, Ministry of Sound, Source Bar and The Green Room, as well as The Vicar's Picnic Festival and on the much-loved FNUK Boat Parties. He runs his own event, Public, which runs sold-out Tech House nights across London and Kent on top, of his other DJing and producing commitments.

He has supported DJ's such as Miguel Campbell, Yousef, Alex P, Slipmatt, Andy C, and many more. Since November 2020, Bakkus has held a regular slot on Sound Garden Radio, with hundreds of listeners every week, and he has held residencies for events in Maidstone like DeKoded, FNUK and The Cheeky Blinders.
