Habitual aka Huw Davies was what you would call a day one raver.

At a very early age he was mesmerised by Acid House and rave culture in general. Like most youngsters at the time he purchased his first set of decks and that was it. He began doing parties at his local nightclub (the infamous Red Lion, Crete Hall Road, Northfleet) called Happy Landings with friend Richie Miller. Huw ended up going a different direction musically to Richie, going for more underground sounds.

Huw also wanted to produce so went to college to figure out how this thing called house was done. Soon after, Huw had a serious illness which meant music and the club scene had to take a back seat. In the early noughties a friend had started to do free parties and heard that huw could dj a bit so asked him to play.
