UNOU Records kickstart 2022 with a bang

We welcome you to a happy new year here at UNOU Records as label head MKEY kicks off 2022 with a long awaited track in House Music. Instead of releasing a single we brought some truly talented artists in to remix the A side and what a delight we have to kick off our release schedule for the year. Shane Mahon, MINT (JPN), BLACK/WHITE & Brett Holmes (UK) provide their own stellar sounds to a very exciting original track.

House Music (Original Mix)

House Music by MKEY (UK) takes a very solid, original vocal and makes it capable of sitting well on any dancefloor you’d like it to. With a very minimal approach, MKEY (UK) really enhances the use of tight drums and his signature rolling bassline along with establishing the use of atmospherics to keep you tuned in throughout. A long awaited release from our label head is sure to have a place for your playlists.

Shane Mahon Remix

Welcoming the first of new artists onto the label this year. Shane has been full throttle these past few years, landing some of the scene's top labels and working with some great artists. Shane Mahon brings a very unique style of bouncy beats to the table with high-quality sounding tracks. This track will drive you into the early hours of the morning.

MINT (JPN) Remix

We’re extremely happy to welcome MINT (JPN) back to UNOU Records having been one of the very first artists signed to the label. He does not disappoint with his signature sound. Bringing his very own Deep Tech / Tech House rolling low end, we hear exactly why he’s been making moves all across the globe. Cleverly placed original samples along with a striking group of drums and percussion is exactly what you expect from this fast paced remix.

BLACK/WHITE Remix

Another welcome to a fantastic artist in BLACK/WHITE. This artist has been on the UNOU Records radar for quite some time and we relished the opportunity to invite him on with this remix opportunity. What a remix it is! Another flavour of exactly what skills this individual possesses, BLACK/WHITE wastes no time in composing something very different to the original mix and cleverly uses the vocal samples in his own arrangement of solid lows and extremely piercing mid range sounds.

Brett Holmes (UK) Remix

Last but not least Brett Holmes (UK) makes his long awaited appearance on UNOU Records. Brett has been in the Music scene for 12 years, he has always been a humble person and tried to be the best he could be within the music scene with his cutting edge house music and the way he Dj’s is very rare. His sound can only be described as; bumpy tech house with an Old School twist, Massive support on his music from the likes of Martin Ikin, Paco Osuna, Todd Edwards and many more. We can see why on his punchy remix full of life as our House Music EP closes off.
